Stephanie Berry is a Maine-born artist and educator whose watercolor, gouache, and ink-based works capture the whimsy and joyful simplicity of ordinary life. With soft layers, loose color blends, and textured ink work, her art feels like a cozy invitation to get lost in the little details. Diving into her art practice full time has been a labor of love. Deeply inspired by her upbringing in Maine, the name Homeward Pine serves as a nod to her late father and Maine’s iconic pine trees — symbols of belonging, nostalgia, and the outdoors. Her work often blends illustrative elements with expressive color, reflecting a style that is both whimsical and rooted in nature.
Stephanie continues to build her studio practice while sharing her love of art through classes, workshops, and original paintings. Her goal is to create artwork that feels familiar and comforting, while offering fresh, layered details each time it’s seen.
